Margarita snails Margarita snails are popular saltwater aquarium invertebrates, primarily known for their algae-grazing abilities. They are generally peaceful and safe for reef tanks, coexisting well with corals and other invertebrates. These snails are relatively small and prefer cooler water temperatures, although they adapt to standard reef tank parameters. Supplementing algae wafers or sheets may be necessary if algae limited in tank.
